Bishop and Baby Food

Bishop has decided that he does not like baby food. I don't think the tast bothers him, he just has more fun spitting it out. The problem started last week when I told him "No No No!" after making rasberries with a mouth full of sweet peas. I obviously did not use the right tone with him when I said it because now he wont take a single bite without spitting it every where. I think I am going to have to call the pediatrician about this! These are pictures of him eating his dinner. Of course the big kids think this is hillarious. Bruen tells Matilda to stand right in front of the highchair every time I give him a bite. She has not caught on yet!
After such a messy dinner I let the boys bathe together. Bruen has been asking for a while now and I think both boys enjoyed it!

A Typical Saturday Morning

Everyone was up early this Saturday because we had a busy day. Brian, Bruen , and Bishop left for 7a.m. to go to the Race for Amelia Grace Epilepsy Walk while Matilda and I stayed home to get ready for her dancing pictures at 9:45. As always I was finishing some last minute monogramming when she pulled back my sewing room curtain and told me to guess who she was. Above is the picture of "The bunny rabbit on roller skates." At 12:45 Brian and Bruen had to head out for his baseball game. He is so cute in his uniform, and big too!

Lets Keep Him

This week on the way to dancing Matilda had the rare chance to sit by Bishop in the car. Through the rearview mirror I could see her leaning over talking to him and this is what she said: " God gave us the sweetest baby. Oh yes he did! and the cutest one too. Mom lets keep him!" Its official, we ALL like him and so we are going to keep him!

Water Slide

The kids got a Water Slide from JuJu, Buck, Paw Paw, and Anna for easter. I think it will be perfect for summer! I never remember getting anything like this for easter when I was little.......hmmm. Anyway the kids are pumped and so am I. Wear their little butts out!

Easter Morning

The kids were so excited easter morning with the treats from the bunny. Bruens favorite item was his Bacugan, Matildas was of course her new booby holder and matching panties, and I am sure Bishops was his rice cereal but we all decided it was his new pair of sunglasses. Matilda told me in the car the other day that "Jesus died on the cross for our sins and at Easter he came back alive!" I asked her who taught her that and she replied "The Bible." I am so glad she knows that there is more to it than just the bunny.

Easter Eve

The kids had a great time preparing for the Easter bunny. Aunt Laura and Cousin Lilly came over to dye eggs and bbq. Notice Matildas egg dying attire......... I am pretty sure she will only be able to get away with it for a year or two more!

Bruen the Babysitter

Bruen saw the pictures of Matilda in the baby bed and wanted his turn in there with him. It was the first night in a long time that I did not have to tell him to go bathe at least five times. I am so thankful for the love he has for his baby brother.

LaPrintaniere Easter Party

Today was the elementary easter party which was held at our house. The kids had a great time with a scavanger hunt. In the past two weeks I have had three parties! They were lots of fun but I am glad they are over.

Matilda the Babysitter

Matilda offered to watch Bishop today while I was busy picking up. I am not sure that he enjoyed her company. I do not think he is going to enjoy the big kids spring break!

Kleinpeter Dairy

Today Bruen and I went on a field trip with his class to Kleinpeter Dairy. Bruen thought it was the coolest field trip so far because he got to eat chocolate ice cream and drink chocolate milk.....both montessori no no's. Between visiting the Dairy and the farm we went to have lunch at a park. Minutes after getting out of the car and running to the playground Bruen met a lady who had lost her wedding ring in the sand two days before. She offered a cash reward for anyone who could find it. Of course all the kids eagerly dug through the sand hoping to find the ring and get the cash reward. All but Bruen quickly lost interest. He dug until it was time to leave. He had to eat his lunch in the car. That boy will do anything for a buck! I wonder who he takes after? The trip was great despite the cold weather. I think we both enjoyed the time with each other!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had our first annual easter egg hunt. Everyone had a great time. Aunt Mitzi brought over colored chicks, baby ducks, a bunny, and a goat....she was definately the hit of the party! Lydie, Joyce and I filled over 1600 eggs for the event. Brian, Boo, and Trey were in charge of hiding. How do you hide that many eggs in freshly cut grass?
