Acadian Festival Parade
I know I have not posted in a while but I have got to get back to it. The kids say the funniest things and this is the best way to record them. On Sunday Matilda went to the Acadian Festival Parade with Wanda. When I picked her up she could not wait to tell me all about it. She said her favorite thing was the pagent girls. "The winners got beautiful crowns AND got to ride in cars with no lids on them(convertibles). They are so lucky!" I think she would love to be on that show Toddlers in Tiarras. Altough she would never admit to being a toddler. The car with no lid comment made me think of the time last year when I had to take her to a wake for an old man that died. My plan was to sit in the back of the church and explain as little as possible. Not five minutes into it she leaned over and asked me "why is that man sleeping in a jewelry box?" That girls wheels are always turning:)

America's Birthday
On Saturday we celebrated the 4th at False River with lots of family. The kids had a great time playing with the cousins as well as taking a boat ride. On the boat ride Bruen asked if we could stop at Wal Mart to pick up some glue on the way home. I told him that Wal Mart was closed because it was a holiday. Matilda asked "What holiday?". I told her it was the 4th of July. The she said "What is that?". I told her it was America's Birthday. Her next question was " Are we going to go to America's party today?"!!! I told her that we were celebrating it at the camp with our family. How Funny!

Sleeping Mask
Ice Age 3
Today we met Kylie and Rebekah to see Ice Age 3. It was so nice to be in the air conditioning! The kids had a great time and so did Rebekah and I, we talked the whole time. Honestly I could not tell you one thing about the movie. I am pretty sure that the Rave is going to have a sign at the door with our pictures and a slash right through it. I don't think we were too much of a bother. The only people sitting around us were some YOUNG kids on the row behind us making out. Is this what we have to look forward to? Scary!!!!
